parent payments 2026
Dear Parent/Guardian,
Welcome to Lang Lang Primary School 2026
Lang Lang PS is looking forward to another great year of teaching and learning and would like to advise you of Lang Lang Primary School’s voluntary financial contributions for 2026.
Schools provide students with free instruction to fulfil the standard curriculum requirements and we want to assure you that all contributions are voluntary. Nevertheless, to continue delivering a high-quality education for our students the support of our families is required. We are committed to providing an exceptional program that equips students with the knowledge and skills to be successful in life, and caters for their academic, social and wellbeing needs. We know that all our families share these high expectations.
As the Government funds fall short of what is required to deliver the enhanced educational program and the student services that our community expects your financial support is highly appreciated. We offer a wide range of resources and initiatives outside the standard curriculum, and these rely on financial contributions from our families. For example:
We are always grateful for the generous support of our families. The School Council can assure you that all contributions are calculated at ‘cost’ (do not generate a profit) and are there to benefit all students. Whilst contributions are voluntary, insufficient funds will result in the school having to make hard decisions about paring back or stopping some of these additional resources, programs, and opportunities.
Thank you for your voluntary financial contribution for 2026 for your child and we encourage you to make the contribution via Compass or in person at the school, with EFTPOS available.
As we look forward to the 2026 school year, all our classroom teachers have prepared individual year level classroom “booklists” that itemize the consumables, materials and equipment that we invite parents to supply. These teaching and learning consumables include items such as pencils, textas, scrapbooks, paper, glue etc.
To assist families in supplying appropriate materials for each year level we have provided you with a link to Office National where all the suggested materials are listed and available for purchase. If you choose to purchase via this link, all items will be delivered to the school ready for your child to use when they return in 2026. You will notice that items can be ‘unselected’, meaning that if you do not need a new pair of scissors, you do not need to purchase that item.
This portal will be available to families until 19th December 2025. If you have questions or require assistance, please do not hesitate to contact the school office.
Other items and activities that enhance and broaden the schooling experience of students will be invoiced to families at the beginning of each term and/or in the lead up to an event. These experiences are provided on a user-pays basis. Examples of these, celebrations/special events (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, cooking), incursions, excursions, and camps. Families eligible to receive the Camps, Sports, and Excursion Fund (CSEF) are able to utilise this to cover the costs of excursions and camps throughout the year.
Lang Lang Primary School understands that some families may experience financial difficulty and offers a range of support options including:

- Transitional programs to engage in curriculum
- Educational sessions to support the pastoral care program including resources to support students' Mental Health & Cultural diversity and safety within the community

- Celebrations/special events (Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Easter, cooking, Christmas lunch)
- Great platform for communication - Compass
